Queen(1973)

The groups first album with some really good beats...

Part of the album was recorded at 'De Lane Lea Studios' where the group tested the new equipment.

The track 'Mad The Swine' was originally going to be released on the Queen album, but Freddie, Brian, Roger and John didn't like the way Roy Thomas Baker mixed it. Neither side wanted to change their mind so it was decided to leave it off the album altogether. Only released on 'Headlong' 12"/CD single.

Also note that John's first and second name changed place on the linear notes. That was because Freddie and Roger thought that it sounded better that way. On Queen's second album it was changed back.

'Seven Seas of Rhye' , here just an instrumental, on "Queen II" was their first chart entry.
